What is this book, my “One Day and Two Nights”? I’ll let the blurb speak for itself:
Over a thousand years in the future, mankind has scattered across the stars and unlocked the secrets of space and time. In a world where the cosmos is man’s oyster, what’s a financial markets trader to do when a crash drives him to the brink of madness? Go to a kind of place he’s always wanted to go but never had the courage to do earlier: a waystation for weary intergalactic travelers, taking them out of all the cares filling their heads and elevating them into a lush dreamy world of relaxation and pleasure. Our man will discover an infinitesimal slice of what recreation looks like in this distant future, in the course of this, his “One Day and Two Nights”.
I’ve had a hard week, so I don’t feel like going into too much detail, just like presenting it to all of you, dear readers, at my blog. It’s a hefty short story: at almost 10,000 words, any longer and I would have classified it as a novella! It’s still a short sweet read, and I mean sweet: it’s a soft, lush, sensual, and warm tale, so if that’s your style of space opera story you might really like it! I certainly loved writing it, and am very satisfied with how it came out.
If you’re interested, you can buy it in ebook or paperback form, crack it open, and enjoy yourself!
